Peggy Lee Leather

Peggy Lee Fowler, better known in the world of professional wrestling as Peggy Lee Leather, Lady X, and Thug, was an American professional wrestler who made her mark in organizations such as WWF, AWA, and WCW. She began her career in the WWF in 1980, where she formed a successful partnership with Wendi Richter. Together, they frequently challenged WWF Women's Tag Team Champions Velvet McIntyre and Princess Victoria. After splitting from Richter in 1985, Leather competed unsuccessfully for the WWF Women's Championship. In 1986, she moved to Montreal to continue her career with Lutte International. In the American Wrestling Association (AWA), under the name Peggy Lee Leather, she faced rivals such as Madusa Miceli for the AWA World Women's Championship. She also participated in the lingerie battle royal at the SuperClash III event. Throughout the 1990s, Leather joined POWW and adopted the persona of Lady X in the LPWA, where she won and later lost the LPWA Championship. She also had a brief stint in WCW, where she continued her rivalry with Madusa.
