Eric S. Dow

Eric S. Dow is an award winning filmmaker born in Toledo, Ohio. He attended the University of Toledo where he put his boundless energy into film making. Though he was still learning his craft, he began entering (and winning) local film festivals. In the spring of 2003, Eric left school and moved to Los Angeles. Just three days after his arrival, he landed a job working as a production assistant on the "Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers" Special Extended Edition DVD. Soon after, he worked in post production for the legendary short film Batman: Dead End, which would later lead to him making a feature length documentary on the making of the film. In 2004, Eric shot and edited the music video "Get Your Dead On" for the band Scum of the Earth, which aired on MTV. In December 2005, Eric moved to the NY area and hit the ground running, shooting and editing for the popular web sitcom, "The Burg". He went on to establish a successful freelance career cutting promos for Nickelodeon, Showtime, and Logo, along with editing several short films and sizzle reels. In July 2009, Eric finished writing, producing, directing, and editing his feature length documentary "Honor in the Valley of Tears"...
