Jeong Ga-young (born 1990~) is an independent film director. When she was a teenager, she wanted to be the producer of a popular TV show about movies. That’s why she started a degree in mass communication before realizing that this job wasn’t for her. She then enrolled at the Film, TV & Multi media School of the Korea National University of Arts, but dropped out less than two years after to try writing novels.
