Shusuke Ueda , better known as Syu (シュウ Shū) is a Japanese musician, known for being the founder and guitarist of the power metal band Galneryus . He has participated in bands such as Spinal Cord , Animetal (Heavy Metal), Valkyr (Power Metal) and Aushvitz (Power Metal). Aside from his talents as a guitarist, he doesn't hesitate to sing whenever he has the opportunity, in the form of guttural choruses in Galneryus and as lead vocalist in Spinalcord.
