Ellicya Naidoo

Ellicya Naidoo (born October 29, 2007) is a British Mauritian filmmaker based in England, United Kingdom. She is known for documenting her life experiences whilst developing her filmmaking skills as a current student by creating short clips, films and music videos. Naidoo runs two YouTube channels, one that features vlogs, mini documentaries and short cinematic messages. The second is a collection of her work as a current student featuring projects such as For Those Who Want To Create (2024). Drawing inspiration from Directors such as Alejandro González Iñárritu, Alfonso Cuarón, Gawx and Damien Chazelle. As for Cinematography, Naidoo is heavily inspired by Emmanuel Lubezki's work and his immersive long-takes. Naidoo continues to push her filmmaking content on social media platforms showing her experimental styles while finding her auteur style. Although, her editing style remains unique and characteristic utilising black & white colour grading which later switches to colour, duplication tools and in-post glitch effects.
